I’ve only found it on VHS, DVD doesn’t seem to exist. After watching this version I do see why they made the changes they did, however it seems to have lost the main message in doing so. A lot wasn’t explained in WOTW, dumbed down for sure, but a bit more entertaining as well.
Well, the Nausicaa version seems to have a slower pace in the way they talk, less expressive and the verbage is different. Maybe it seems that WOTW was more entertaining because I watched it 20+ times as a kid and it didn’t have the same “message” that Nausicaa does, so it wasn’t as thought provoking (for a 9-12yr old).
Makes me want to see the “Americanized” version ;)
